Jon Greene greets Gene Grubb, Ray Volz, and Chris Papa at the check in Jon directing Keith Landis and others to the registration desk. Dean of COTS,
Jim DeBusman led barbershoppers in learning one of the two songs presented at COTS
Barbershoppers from the Mid-Atlantic District gathered in the Hilton Ballroom learned to sing "Pretty Baby" and "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles"

COTS students and faculty ate breakfast, lunch and dinner under a tent roof.  The heating system, failed the night before so breakfast and lunch were chilly. "Just Right" a quartet of high school junior classmen from Mathacon High School, Norristown, PA sang for the assembled veteran barbershoppers on Saturday evening.

Last Five Standing:
Long after others had gone to bed, this intrepid band of merri-makers sang in the lobby of the Hilton hotel on Friday night.

Allan (kneeling, right) sang several tags and barber pole cats with the group from Fairfax, VA and Hagerstown, MD

What we were really there for....

Participants attended classes Friday evening, and had sessions Saturday morning, afternoon, and evening, and Sunday morning.

A jovial tenor (is there any other kind?) who had long flaxen hair allowed Allan to reminisce about days gone by.
